Every bracelet, necklace, and earring that leaves our studio carries a little piece of us with it. Here's the story of how it all began — and why we do what we do.
How K & K Began
K & K Handmade Accessories was born out of a love for beautiful, meaningful things. Based in Bedfordshire, UK, our small studio is where creativity meets craftsmanship — and where every piece is made entirely by hand, one bead at a time.
What started as a personal passion for jewellery-making quickly grew into something much bigger: a desire to share pieces that not only look beautiful, but feel meaningful to the people who wear them. Today, K & K is a collection of over 300 handcrafted pieces — bracelets, necklaces, earrings, hairbands, and keyrings — each one made with care and intention.

The Handmade Process
There are no machines here. Every single piece is crafted by hand, which means no two are ever exactly alike. The process begins with selecting the right materials — choosing gemstones for their colour, quality, and energy — before carefully threading, knotting, and finishing each design.
It's a slow, considered process, and that's exactly the point. We believe the time and attention that goes into each piece is what makes it special. When you hold a K & K bracelet, you're holding something that someone truly cared about making.

The Materials: Why Natural Gemstones?
We work with a carefully curated selection of natural gemstones and quality materials, chosen not just for their beauty, but for the stories they carry:
- Black Obsidian — A powerful grounding stone, known for protection and clarity.
- Green Aventurine — Often called the stone of opportunity, associated with luck and abundance.
- Amethyst — A calming, spiritual stone that promotes peace and balance.
- Cat's Eye — A stone of intuition and protection, with a striking, luminous finish.
- Pearl — Timeless and elegant, symbolising purity, wisdom, and new beginnings.
Each gemstone is selected by hand, and we only work with materials that meet our quality standards. The result is jewellery that looks as good as it feels to wear.
